T.A.Rendek & Associates Ltd. supports charitable community projects
When the Town of Creston was unable to construct the Canyon Street Walk-through due to financial restraints, management and staff of T.A. Rendek & Associates Ltd., (TARA), offered their assistance to construct the municipality owned project free of charge. The project was completed with the financial support of TARA, volunteered time by TARA employees and donated equipmentDuring the course of construction, TARA works closely with local communities to maintain open communication and understand and address local concerns through the project delivery phases. Our policy is to minimize disruption and inconvenience for all participants involved.
Whenever possible, our firm maximizes the involvement of local trade contractors, suppliers (including equipment and materials) and qualified labour. We collaborate with local organizations to provide opportunities for skills acquisition and upgrading often via project-specific training programs.
One innovative approach to encourage future trades personnel is utilizing our wealth of experience in building, renovating, or expanding existing schools. Our team actively works with teachers and administrative staff to offer class tours to educate students on the many careers that are present on a working construction site.
Since safety is very important these onsite tours are only conducted when the highest standards of safety for the students is assured. These educational tours allow the students to appreciate the phases of construction while embracing the knowledge of the finished project.
The Creston Judo Club is a sponsored tenant in one of our corporate buildings. Our staff assists the Judo Club with all of their fundraising initiatives including hot dog sales, ticket raffles, garage sales, etc. to help send many judokas to various seminars, workshops, and tournaments including the Canadian National Championships.
